One of these "5s" is a little quirkier than the other! Inside every Nixie tube is a stack of glowing metal numbers, but they aren't all built the same. The ИН-8-2 on the left, found in our NIX4 and NIX6 models, features a dedicated digit for the number five. Meanwhile, the ИН-12 on the right, used in our NIX4F, uses an upside-down '2' to get the job done. We think this quirky vintage detail is a brilliant piece of history that makes every clock special.
